An unexpected package arived this morning and turned out to be a french translation of Small Groups Growing Churches, a training guide for small group leaders which I wrote for Scripture Union some years ago. I've no idea why they've had it translated into french - all the more ironic since it's out of print in England. Amazon are offering 1 used copy @ £6.27 + £2.75 postage. But it's easier to obtain than that - and cheaper - since CRP has copies @ £2.99 (I don't know what the postage will be without getting a book and weighing it!) I did pass O level French an eternity ago but I have forgotten most of it so it's a really weird experience looking through a book you know you've written (artwork and illustrations are all the same) but only being able to understand parts of it.
